Hike To Hoodoo Planet

Bart and Robyn were in town this week on one of their twice-a-year photo trips through the area.  I usually take them to one of my favorite enchanted locales.  This is a place I call Hoodoo Planet.

Any time Bart fills up his memory card, I figure I done good.

Some of these rocks are bigger than RV's.

Hi Marty – just stumbled upon your blog – looks like you are still doing interesting stuff. If you remember I was on Whirlwind Tour 95 – Dimmitt. Have been back in the States a couple of times since – once storm chasing (3 of us from the UK – we got storms but not the really good stuff you got us to), once touring South Dakota/ Chicago. Will follow your blog.
    Cheers

    Marty:

Robyn and I really enjoyed the escape to your “planet”. We had great light, beautiful clouds in a fantastic place to photograph. Your simple and humble lifestyle must be in good favor with the gods, because we were certainly blessed with all of the best that evening.

It was good to see you. We look forward to the next visit — and Round Valley Draw is sounding real good.

Thanks again for your help during our visit.

    Bart and Robyn
